Onze partner de Nederlandse Ambassade organiseert een speciale 4 mei herdenking in Washington D.C. Want ook ver van huis staan Nederlanders stil bij hen die vielen tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De ceremonie omvat een kranslegging, twee minuten stilte en een receptie met lichte versnaperingen.
De Ambassade heeft D.C. Dutch uitgenodigd om namens alle Nederlanders in de DMV-regio een krans te leggen. Een grote eer en we willen jou hiervoor uitnodigen. Geïnteresseerd? Meld je aan vóór 28 april.
Beknopt programma:
- 13:15 uur: Ontvangst & receptie
- 13:45 uur: Start ceremonie
- Kransleggingen en toespraken
- 14:00 uur: Twee minuten stilte
- Muziek en gedicht
- 15:30: Einde ceremonie en receptie

Our partner the Dutch Embassy is organizing a special May 4th remembrance in Washington D.C. Because even far from home, Dutch people pause to remember those who fell during the Second World War. The ceremony includes a wreath laying, two minutes of silence, and a reception with light refreshments.
The Embassy has invited D.C. Dutch to lay a wreath on behalf of all Dutch people in the DMV region. A great honor and we want to invite you to join. Interested? Register before April 28th.
